We have now made the exciting announcement that you can card link to your LUX Rewards account, but what does that actually mean? We have answered your questions below...
What is card linking?
It's officially the end of loyalty stamp cards and paper coupons. Today's technologies mean that there are now more convenient and personalised ways for consumers to collect loyalty points.
Card-linked offers (or CLOs) are a card-linking technology that allows operators like LUX Rewards to link an offer to a debit or credit card. This means that when you sign up to LUX Rewards, you can claim your points by simply using your card in a partnered restaurant or bar.
This means that consumers can be sure not to lose their points, either by forgetting to claim points or by losing their stamp card. This has become increasingly popular in an age where cash payments are less common.
How does it work?
When you link your card on LUX Rewards using our safe and protected platform, you are giving us permission to reward you points every time that you use that card in one of our registered venues.
We do not see any of your other transactions. We will only be informed when you dine in one of our restaurant and bars. Our integration also means that we never store any of your card details.
Are my card details safe?
100%. We can ensure that customer information is secure and that our program follows all privacy laws and is Level 1 PCI Compliant.
What do I now need to do?
Download the LUX Rewards app (if you haven't already) and open it on your phone. You will be asked to input your chosen card details and you are away!
You will be sipping champagne from The Shard in no time thanks to LUX Rewards (you can thank us later).
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us and our friendly team will be happy to help.
