Now that December is among us, the festive season has truly begun, and with lockdown ending, we can begin to think about how to celebrate this time with our loved friends and family.
With this in mind, I've listed out a few of our favourite suggestions:
Egerton House Hotel: Festive Afternoon Tea
Until January the 3rd, you can enjoy a beautiful array of festive treats at Egerton House Hotel. Your choice from our finest leaf teas with homemade cakes including chocolate orange brownie, mince pie, spiced chocolate Christmas tree cupcake, Christmas stollen, Christmas spiced Victoria sponge cake and coconut snowball. Their freshly cut sandwiches include organic smoked salmon on Cape seed loaf, free range egg mayonnaise on white bread, turkey and cranberry on brown bread, cucumber and cream cheese on sundried tomato bread and coronation chicken sandwich on granary bread. And of course, an afternoon tea wouldn't be without freshly home-baked plain and fruit scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and selection of preserves.
There are also Gluten-Free, Vegan and Vegetarian options available.
This is also available on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day - however, prices vary.
