Having held a Michelin star since 2014 for its contemporary and classic Indian cuisine, you know only the highest standard of food will be delivered to your table at Gymkhana.
Expect grand decorations, warm woods and bold colours to transport you out of London and into an elite club of India where members of high society would socialise, eat, drink, and play sport.
Split over two floors, Gymkhana offers two distinctive looks and feels. The restaurant’s ground floor and bar hosts tones of jade green, polished dark timber and rich printed fabrics inspired by the residential mansions of Kolkata and Pondicherry. As you head down a mirrored staircase, the lower ground floor references subtle elements of north-Indian architecture and a vivid colour palette of peach and Kashmiri chill red.
Throughout the restaurant, the interiors are elevated by an array of original Gymkhana features including hunting trophies from the Maharaja of Jodhpur and Grandmother Sethi’s barometer.
If you're a lover of refined bold flavours true to their roots, presented with a contemporary flair then this is the place for you.
